Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Hi! I figured the best way to start this new blog off was by introducing myself.

I’m Dustin I currently run a blog called For The Love of Comics, but I’ve found that it can’t quite hold everything that defines me. My geeky interests encompass much more than comics, and my family becomes my real focus every day. Which is probably the best segue-way that I’ll get for introducing my family.

Let’s see, there’s….

My lovely soon-to-be-wife Rhonda, who has, in a way, inspired this blog with her own, Life. Love. Lipstick. If you’re interested in reading some really good insights into fashion and the wedding industry, not to mention some really good life and mommy blogging, check her out!
Nick is Rhonda’s son from a previous relationship. He may not be my biological offspring, but is mine in every way that truly matters. Nick is a vivacious three-year-old who will probably be mentioned quite a bit, since his energy ensures that he is a part of almost anything that goes on around here.
Jude is my son from a previous relationship. He lives with his mom, so he may not show up quite as much as Nick, but he’s around more than enough to make himself known.
Harper is the newest edition and the seed of my unholy union with Rhonda. He joined us on May 28, 2009, and has already established his rule over the household. Bow before your future dark overlord!

And that’s the main cast of characters around here. Family and friends will, of course, make appearances and be introduced as warranted.

I am currently laid off and spend the majority of my days hanging out with my boys, reading, geeking out, and picking up freelance writing assignments when I can. This blog will be about our day-to-day lives, along with any cool news and/or happenings that excite me.
