Forgive me for getting a little serious for a moment, but I need to get something off of my chest.

A man is questioned by a stranger about his religion and, when he reveals that he is Jewish, he is brutally attacked.  He is stabbed repeatedly and his face is slashed, then he is left for dead.

Another man breaks into a Catholic church and urinates in the holy water.

Either one would cause outrage in most of you.  Let’s change it up, though.  Say the first victim is a Christian and the church is a “black” church and was burned down.  Probably still plenty of outrage.  Heck, we could change that victim to a black man, a homosexual, a midget, a Mexican immigrant (even you Arizonans would still be a little outraged)… all would still be condemned, right?

Then why do I see people trying to justify these things being done to a Muslim man and the prayer rugs in a Mosque?  Have we really become a nation of hypocritical bigots?

There is no justification for treating our fellow citizens or even our fellow human beings like this. None.  We are not at war with Muslims or Islam.  We are at war with extremism and intolerance and this shit?  This is extremism and intolerance of the worst kind.  I am at war with people who think things like this are justified.

Consider yourselves on notice.
