Just a quick note about something I found useful during the planning of this move. On Retail Me Not, I found a coupon code that saved me 30% off our rental truck from Budget, which I’ve found is generally the cheapest for these one-way moves that I keep finding myself making. The longer I go without writing, the harder it is for me to actually start writing. I’ve lost count of how many posts I’ve talked myself out [...] To say the last six months have been rough would be an understatement. In April, I was laid off from my job. I’m not unique in this – something like 539,000 people lost their job that month. I doubt I’m even that unique in that we were expecting a child in a little over a month [...] I wasn’t raised in religion, and I’ve always viewed the concept of organized religion with a sort of courteous skepticism.
