This kid is definitely my Mini-Me It’s been two years since Harper made the transition from Mommy’s little parasite to Daddy’s little sidekick. From the moment he was born, we’ve become nearly inseparable. During those first days in the hospital, I took over most of the feedings and snuggles. I wasn’t consciously trying [...]  Because we just can’t seem to find a babysitter that we can rely on (T excluded, she had a VERY good reason), the boys are staying with their grandpa this week. I just came home from dropping them off, and I already miss them. This house is just not the same without feet pounding [...]  I have yet to see a single parent answer this one differently – I hope that I will never have to bury one of my children. I’m sure I would somehow find a way to survive it, but I would never be the same. I would be a shell, at best. As you [...] Rhonda went back to work today, so I had my first full day alone with Harper and Nick. The good news is that nobody died or was injured. If I hadn’t already been staying home with Nick before Harper came, I think today would have been alot harder. As it is, though… we still [...] Baby brothers can be a headache. Rhonda and I have had some trouble with Nick. Since Harper has come home, Nick seems more argumentative, prone to tantrums and screaming fits, and “potty accidents”, all of which we thought we left behind.
